TrapperJ Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Well not only am i addicted to fishing but i am addicted to video games as well. Just wanted to share this encase there were other Fish/Gamers out there that might enjoy it too. So on those rainy days like today that I can't get out to wet a line i can fire up this bad boy on my PS Vita. Let's Fish Hooked On apparently is made by the people who made the ever popular Sega Bass Fishing game. So looks like I'll wet a line from the couch tonight! http://blog.us.playstation.com/tag/lets-fish-hooked-on/ Quote
tugsandpulls Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 nothing like the real thing if its raining fish dont care there allready wet get out and fish geesh Quote
Shewillbemine Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 He he he, nothing wrong with a good fishing video game but yes, you better have your flame suit on for stating the reason you stay indoors is rain. I have the Rapala game for Xbox (the better one as there are two versions) for those times I can't go fishing because of REAL reasons (such as the lake is closed). 1 Quote
TrapperJ Posted January 30, 2013 Author Posted January 30, 2013 haha i meant to say uhhh had to watch baby, yeah that was it. I thought about getting the rapala one for 360, is it fun? also which one is the good one? Quote
Shewillbemine Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Rapala PRO BASS Fishing is the better one. Well, my biggest issue with any fishing game is that after several minutes, I wish I were actually on the water. 1 Quote
CayMar Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Yea rapala pro is fun. My only issue is I slay them on the game and get skunked alot in real life which is depressing. Lol.Is that lets fish hooked on available on ps3? I enjoy video games too. Quote
Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted January 30, 2013 Super User Posted January 30, 2013 I need to get me some fishing games. My girlfriend hates it when Im playing Call of Duty or something like that. But she likes fishing so maybe I could get away with a fishing game. Quote
CayMar Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 My wife likes to play cod with me. Since I got into fishing pretty heavy I don't really play much anymore though. Quote
hatrix Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Sega bass is not as much fun with out the rod. Using a controller ruins it after you have played it with the rod. You can probably find a dream cast and rod for cheap. I still have my dream cast somewhere from when I was younger. Maybe I should look for it one day. Quote
PondBoss Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I liked Mark Davis pro bass fishing for PS2. It seemed the patterns were pretty accurate as well as presentations to catch fish. The Strike is not bad on the Wii my son can catch fish on it, so he like it. Quote
