JoePhish Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I thought the summer ale already has the fruit mixed in LOL ! I love that movie too. Yeah, lol, it has hints of citrus in it, I think. I'm not against different types of flavoring in beers. Though, besides the whole frilly garnish thing I'm just not a big fan of bar fruit in general. Quote
Maico1 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Francho is correct. It is a '66 three deuces, four on the floor, 3.07:1 positraction rear end, convertible, rally wheels w/TigerPaw tires, and am/fm radio. Sticker Price: around 3000 dollars. Four of us went to Florida in 1967. With the 3.07:1 rear end we averaged about 21 mpg. Yeah I tried to stretch it.....I have this 65 in my garage, still a hoot to fire it up once in a while and as you know go through the gears.... Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted February 1, 2013 Super User Posted February 1, 2013 What year is the Vette on the lift ? Quote

Super User Fishing Rhino Posted February 1, 2013 Super User Posted February 1, 2013 Yeah I tried to stretch it.....I have this 65 in my garage, still a hoot to fire it up once in a while and as you know go through the gears.... This is what I do now. All the color is in the gel coat. The only paint is on the chassis. The car above took first place in the race car division at the World of Wheels car show in Boston 1996. The next four winners were also cars with my bodies on them. The car below is made using four colors, yellow, light orange, dark orange and red. The light orange is used for the back of the fender, the front of the door, and the A columns on the roof. The dark orange is used at the rear edge of the doors, the front of the quarter panels and the rear columns of the roof. That way, when a panel gets wrecked it's easy to make a replacement panel that will match the mating pieces. The blending of the colors is done bye eye from experience. It doesn't have to perfectly match the panel on the other side since you cannot see both at the same time. But, as you can tell from the roof, the blending pretty well matches the lower body panels. Ditto for the hood. Unfortunately the front of the hood is just sitting on top of the lexan strip under which the nose of the hood fits. The finish also has a Spindrift red gold metalflake in a clear gel coat which is the first thing sprayed into the mold. It would cost more to get the body painted to look like this than what I charge for the complete body, around 1500 dollars. Quote

Very clean, you certainly have a method to your madness but then again I am not surprised.....Once it gets into your blood it never stops does it. Quote

endless Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Mine doesn't like to hunt or fish. That's ok. I'll just take the kiddos and give her a nice quiet house! I leave my kids at home with the wife so I can have a nice quiet day on the water! lol But nah we have more responsible, reliable friends now that we can trust to watch the children while we fish when she wants. I do want to take my 5 year old more this year too just frighten to put him in boat (jon boat) with me so might stay on land still. Our other son is just 4 months now. Quote
