I have a 7ft Medium Power Vendetta, MF action, that always finds its way in the corner.

It has a lure rating of 1/4 to 5/8.

Planning to buy a dedicated reel for it sometime in the near future depending on technique ideas. Thanks.

You could use that for a variety of things. I'd throw anything from 1/4oz lipless cranks to trig/rage rig plastics. It's a good all around type of rod.

+1. Since I fish lipless and shallow to medium cranks a lot, that rod would see a lot of use.

Id also throw spooks, small frogs, spinnerbaits, that rod can cover alot of baits....

I figured thats what most would do, as I was doing the same for a while with it. I may just make it into my all purpose travel rod again with some hybrid line on the reel. Thanks.

Ive got one too. It always does the same thing. You can throw just about anything, so I keep it as a spare just in case.

That's a perfect treble hook bait rod. Traps, small hard swimbaits, divers, square bills, would all work well.

X2, i'd also throw 1/4-3/8oz spinnerbaits and swim jigs on this rod. I personally like a little tip for these applications so the fish engulfs the lure before I start swinging for the fences.

square bills, jerk baits, and smaller top water stuff.weight less plastics would also throw well with that rod.

Versitile rod. Really anything @ 1/2 oz or less.

Being a med mf, it should have some flex to it, id like to have it on the deck if I was fishing under docks. Rods like that make great "skippin rods"
