reaction-strike Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I searched the FLW website and was thinking of fishing a few FLW opens. Can someone clarify for me, do you need to own a Ranger boat to be able to win a Ranger boat? Sorry if this question was asked. Quote
jhoffman Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 No but heres the real kicker. Lets say you come in as a boater.... you win... if youre fishing out of a ranger youre likely looking at about an extra $50,000 in money if the boat is new enough. Quote

JimmyMack814 Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Your best best would be to sign up for the Everstart Series, because there are no opens this year for FLW! I am planning on fishing a couple of the Bassmaster Opens and shoot for that Nitro, though it is a long shot! Quote
jhoffman Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 No opens doesnt mean much, it simply means you must become a member of FLW. I think the initial cost even gives you entry into an event. Quote
tbone1993 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Most boat companies have incentive programs. If you fish out of a 2012 triton and win I am pretty sure you get some cash. Check each website they will provide the exact information. Quote
fl_bass Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Also check your motor manufacturer. They also payout. Found out when I did a photo shoot for some FLW Pros. I asked them why everyone had the same boats and motors. I wished I was into bass fishing back then. Those boats are fast. Quote
