Oh boy that was good! I cooked breakfast for dinner. And we stuffed our selves!! Eggs, grits, biscuts, gravy, bacon, and chicken fried deer meat and fried apples. That meal was so dog-gone good i had to post about it.

I was off work today and its snowing, so i kinda had a little extra time on my hands..

Am i the only one that loves breakfast for dinner?

I am on a breakfast burrito kick here lately myself. Eggs, pepper jack, peppers, onions and some ham or sausage or whatever meat I have in the fridge. I made them with some brisket I smoked and that junk was delicious :)

I will try that tomorrow morning. Ive never tried hot sauce grits before.

My 4 yr old has developed quite the affinity for pepper grits too. Im kind of suprised he likes them as much as he does.

Man that sounds so stout your not gonna need the breakfast in the am, country fried deer sounds great I envision mine with some over easy eggs n white toast.

We do biscuits n gravy or pancakes and bacon for dinner sometimes. Love grits too, when I make them for dinner we put bacon wrapped shrimp on them, if we make them for breakfast it is just butter, cheese and pepper.

I have never eaten grits. It is probably one of life's treasure boxes I will never open. Chicken fried steak with suasage gravy, scambled eggs, home fries and sour dough toast on the other hand runs through my cholesterol filled arteries. Have you ever had mannicotti for breakfast ? Dang that's good.

Lasagna for breakfast is a favorite of mine.....usually because I cook up a pan and don't eat it that night cause it is always better the next day but I can rarely wait till dinner time.

Chicken fried deer meat?  So, would that be fried chicken or fried deer? Or a mix of fried chicken and deer?

@bassn blvd- basicly its fried deer meat in the battter and mix as one would do for fried chricken. Thanks for a good laugh

@caylub-to my knowledge most southerners call it fried apples but its really apples that are suateed in butter, sugar, brown sugar, and cinnomon for about 20 mins or until the apples are soft. Its freakin yummy!

Breakfast for dinner is awesome!  Sometimes Ill hit Denny's at like 2 or 3 in the morning and do like 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, french toast and hashbrowns.  I know it would be better if I made it myself but sometimes I just don't feel like doing all that.  If I do make it myself, I gotta have scrapple.  Now this threads done gone and made me hungry for breakfast.  Don't have any meats though.  Think Im gonna make myself some waffles.

Apples peeled or not, cored, sliced, and sauteed slowly in butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and ginger to suit you.  You can cook them through, or leave them a bit crunchy in the center.  There are endless variations.

If you want to try them, stop at a Cracker Barrel.  You can get them with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Nope, you are not the only one that likes breakfast for dinner.

My wife and I will have eggs, French toast, coffee, pastry, etc. for dinner every now and then.

It is a fun thing to do, especially after being together for over 20 years!!!!

Love it man. Brinner is a must!

I grill a burger and butter and toast the bun. Add some cheese, one over medium egg, 2 pieces of bacon and some hash browns. Mayo didn't really work too well with said ingredients, plus the egg yolk works good for a sauce. I usually just use a little hot sauce. Now THAT is true breakfast/dinner my friends.
