Super User clayton86 Posted January 24, 2013 Super User Posted January 24, 2013 I swear iv seen Kung Fu panda 2 and the jungle book 1000 times each over the past few weeks. The ex just dropped my boys off cuz it's my weekend with them and what do they wanna watch? Jungle book and they watch it over and over and over and over and over lol. I suppose it could be worse it's at least the old cartoon not the new crap they come out with. Kung Fu panda is usually on repeat also but they like the jungle book better the "little" one loves it he stands inches from the screen and dances or roars when ever baloo comes on lol. What movies do your kids watch on repeat? Could be worse like my little cousins were hooked on the wiggles and tella tubbies Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted January 24, 2013 Super User Posted January 24, 2013 My 5 yr old and 2 yr old both love the Wiggles. I dont mind that because the Wiggles are pretty good as far as they have no violence or any other stuff you dont want your kid watching, but sometimes the songs drive me nuts. I found and bought all of the Rankin-Bass stop animated tv movies from the seventies, and my kids absolutely love them. They are the ones with the baby new year and heat meiser, they are all holiday related, but that doesnt matter to the kids. I found 6 of them so far. Quote
Hanover_Yakker Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Cars, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, current fave (and one of my faves) is The Sandlot (he plays baseball so go figure) Quote

Super User MarkH024 Posted January 24, 2013 Super User Posted January 24, 2013 My kids are only 8 months. Sesame Street and Barney is like crack...nothing else. But I try not to let them sit in front of the tube too long. I try to have them be interactive as much as possible. When i grew up.......I watched Conan the Destroyer about 3 times a day when my grandma would watch me. I was obsessed with Arnold, specifically Conan the character. 1 Quote

My baby likes anything with a catchy tune, its not a movie persay but my 3yr old loves the spiderman cartoon from the 60's/70's on netflix he would watch that over and over. Quote

They love hunting and fishing shows too just the last week I went over to their place for dinner and Noah my 3 year old came running up with one of my dvd's I left there, the dvd.......Drurry outdoors Predator Madness 2. He used to watch city limits with me too and Zonas awesome fishing show. I agree with not letting them sit infront of the tube to long but its 6* out and I just had surgery so its indoors for the weekend the tv is just background noise mostly the legos are out now and they are building a cage for his lion and tiger figures and the little one is running with one of them plastic candy canes filled with M&Ms chasing the cat. 1 Quote

CayMar Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 My 8 year old watches the Smurfs movie every chance she gets. I didn't think it was great to begin with. Now I want to pull my hair out. The movie Charlotte's Web is my 1 year olds favorite. You turn it on and she is glued to the tube. I think its cool because she loves the original from like 1972. Quote

Jake P Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Despicable me is an awesome movie! My son watches it ALL THE TIME. My daughter loves up and the original cartoon Grinch movie. Then there is toy story 1-3 and 15 others. I can watch despicable me though, that one is awesome!!! Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted January 25, 2013 Super User Posted January 25, 2013 I remember when i was little I would always have the movie Days Of Thunder on, I was obsessed with NASCAR at the time. I would literally just fastforward to the parts where there were cars. Now a days I watch it and i'm like "Holy crap, there is a story to this movie?" lol Quote
