I have never seen the Spook you describe. Can you post a pic?

Your picture request is being addressed.  How are pictures added so that they are not just links but rather they are displayed in the post?

The red head/bone (white) Zara used to be a great producer. It looks just like that without the glitter and yellow belly. I can't imagine why that color combo wouldn't work. The silver glitter would be great on a clear sky/clear water condition, IMHO.

Is this a lure your trying to initate or are looking to buy?

Good luck my friend!

Regarding "... Is this a lure your trying to initate or are looking to buy?"

Since the use of this forum is new here, It is unknown what degree of detail may be referenced in addressing your question (e.g., links, specific names of sources, etc.).  The lure is presently available from a known source that can be cited with permission from this forum.  The lure is; to at least one fisherman, known to be a good color Zara Spook for catching fish.  Your experiences with this specific bait are of interest.

My experience with said bait is the visual inspection I gave to your 2 pictures. Nice camera work.

Note that the line tie ring is located on the bait's nose rather than on the bait's chin as on current vintage Heddon Zara Spook baits.

Dredging this topic up because of an interesting event that occurred today. My uncle gave me the bait shown in the picture earlier (original Zara spook clown color) about 3 months ago. He received the bait as a bonus in a purchase he made from a local shop about 5 years ago. Long story short, the owner of the shop called him and left a voicemail wanting to know if he still had it. Does anyone know if this bait is suddenly worth something, or possibly a sought after collector’s item? I’m having my uncle call the guy back tomorrow to find out why he wanted to know about it. Thanks everyone!
