I got some strike king zeros which I think are gonna be great. Really soft, and salty. I went to try them out today and I couldn't get them on the twist lock. The bait wouldn't thread itself on its to stretchy. Just wondering if anyone else ran into this issue no big deal just new to me. I'll just use a regular EWG hook with no twist lock.

Heat up a nail or something similar and stick it in the end, it will creat a hole that you can then thread a hitchhiker through

also if youre new to elaztech..... do not under any circumstances put those baits with any others that you own. keep them in the package they came in. they will react with regular plastic baits and turn itself and them into a pile of goo.

they are great baits though. enjoy!!

SK Zeros, Finesse or any 3x Elaztech plastics do not work well with twist locks. SK makes a shaky jig head that works best for the finesse worms. I rig my Zeros weightless with 3/0 or 4/0 EWG Gammy.

I've never done the heating a nail trick, but I'm sure it will work. I just cuss it long enough and eventually it will give up the ghost!

Another tip. If you ever use one on a shaky jig they are deadly since they float up in the water to twitch. I recommend keeping some crazy glue handy to keep it from sliding off of a jig head. This is actually easier than trying to get a screw lock jig to bite.

One more thing. I've never seen a bass yet who could tear one of those baits! They stretch to eternity so make sure you have a fish fully on before you cross her eyes. No joke my yellow lab loves for me to punch a nail through one and thread some line through it and tie a not, then cast it out in the yard for her to fight with me. Literally stretches 3 feet before snapping out of her mouth, but not tooth marks! Crazy...
