Fish Chris Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 First time out of my house in 4 days, due the flue, and I find these little guys like 15ft from m,y front door ! I ran in, grabbed the camera, tip toed back out and quickly snapped off a bunch of shots. Sun was low in the West, and pointing straight on them Peace, Fish 3 Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted January 22, 2013 Super User Posted January 22, 2013 Those tail feathers would make good flies! Quote

sbfishySC Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Cedar waxwings, very cool looking birds. If you've ever held one, or a preserved specimen, it's really cool to feel that those red spots really do feel wax-like, I guess hence the name waxwing. Excellent photos! Quote
Christian M Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Awesome shots, excellent lighting & depth of shot, what kind of camera/lens were you using? Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted January 22, 2013 Super User Posted January 22, 2013 Nice pics. You should try and get these in a conservation mag. Quote
