Super User jbsoonerfan Posted January 21, 2013 Super User Posted January 21, 2013 I live about 30 min from the Lake of the Arbuckles and I have caught some good fish out of there. But what took place there yesterday is almost unbelievable. There was a tourn. there yesterday and the winnning sack (5 fish) was 42.04 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm guessing there will be a few hundred boats there next weekend. Quote

Broke bass fisherman Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Wow. That's pretty amazing, looks like I might have to put that onthe bucket list. Quote
gripnrip Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 The weather was perfect yesterday in Oklahoma. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 23, 2013 Global Moderator Posted January 23, 2013 How disappointing would it be to have been that second place team? You bring in almost 30 pounds with a 9+lb kicker and only come in second over 10lbs behind the first place team? That's a once in a life time limit of fish most places but it won't even get a second look because of the crazy numbers the winning team put up. Quote
Quillback Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I'm hooking up my boat right now...LOL. Quote
