Pros? Cons? Preference?

I've used the KVD HC is all sizes and it has produced, but Tackle warehouse currently has the LC RC on sale for $7.99 a pop.

Are they worth it?

Both great baits and both have their time and place. Seems to me like the rattling LC are a little louder than the SK and have a little tighter, more controlled wobble.

I have never used the Strike Kings, and don't plan on it, but the Lucky Crafts are fantastic! I have quite a few of them, and they are just great, durable, fish catching lures. Plus, you don't have to swap out hooks on the LC's. I've heard some bad reports on the KVD's terminal tackle. Check out the Copper Perch colored LC's.

LC when something is on the line.

I have plenty of both in my tackle box but in my opinion the Lucky Craft baits are superior. The RC 1.5 Copper Green Shad is my all time favorite square bill. That bait just flat out puts fish in the boat around here.

My biggest fish this past year came off of that color!

Never had a LC squarebill, and never will. Not that they are not well made, and productive baits. But the shear number of fish fish I catch on SK KVD's is good enough for me, even with swapping the hooks out, it still costs lest than LC, and hurts the wallet far worse when the toothies come a looking.

Congrats!! I hooked what I'd say was about a 6 pounder on one once, got it all the way to the side of the boat and for some still unfathomable to me reason I reached down and tried to lift it in the boat by grabbing my line. Just as I did he gave a nice big head shake and POP, the 10# Trilene XT wasn't up to the challenge. Not only did I have to watch a huge fish swim away but he swam away with my bait.

I've been lucky with these baits though, I've had a nice "connection" for the past 4 years or so and I've only had to pay $8.99 instead of the regular LC prices.

Saw some Lucky Craft RC's at Bass Pro a couple of days ago on clearance rack:   $4.88.   Best price ever.  Not a lot of them, but enough to spend a few bucks!

The LES is a good bait too and has a couple different colors than the other two offer. I really like the Reel Shad and Cooper Perch colors in the LES squarebill. They have a pretty similar action to the LC but don't forget to change the hooks out.

No No! Don't let the Copper Perch color out of the bag. It is a secret color. Take it back!!!!

If KVD uses them, its good enough for me.................

I'm sure he changes the hooks out, too.

KVD does change the hooks...but they have become my favorite cranks. At that price for the LCs they are absolutely worth the price. They are worth the price at full retail, but my budget won't allow them.
