I was wondering if anyone adds scents to their baits when pouring them. Example: garlic, salts, and other scents. If so at what time during the process is it added. I have looked on you tube and I see a lot of people that pour baits but haven't heard much on adding scents to them. I am in the process of buying the supplies to start pouring my own baits and making my own molds and am trying to gain a little more knowledge.

Thanks for your time.

Yes, I add scents.  After you have your plastersol in the measuring cup just pour your scent in.  You can purchase scents commercially, or make your own.

So you heat the scent and the plastic together?

Toi find i add the scent after it cools the plastic and it may bubble. Since you will have to reheat the mixture it really is the way to go.

Does not matter when you add the scent. Make sure it is NOT water based.

Do you guys make your own scent or by it pre made, and if so what kind of items do you use to make it?

You can make your own scent if you have some soft plastic bait oil. Heat the oil and add the scent you want, garlic, coffee, etc....  but it is way easier to purchase it from Bear or other mold maker suppliers. Do not add power bait to your plastisol as it is water based and will cause major problems during heating.
