TrapperJ Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Heres the thread i started for my first BFL results http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/114748-tough-day-on-grand-for-first-bfl/ It was tough, fishing out there in short, the ole goose egg found its way into my bag Quote
Fishing N Boots Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Where did you go to sign up? Was it pretty nerve racking being a co-angler? I have always wanted to fish a tournament, just my schedule always holds me back. I am nervous, as i will be completely new at it and dont want to get on the Boaters nerves/let them down for failing to catch fish. I am very respectful and will help out as much as needed. Quote
TrapperJ Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 FLW's Bass Fishing League and Bassmasters Weekend Series both have weekend trails, go to the sites and you can find the trails near you and what lakes. They are $100 each event, and I highly rccomend it. My first event was awesome they really make a big deal out of it, only thing missing was I didn't catch a fish to get up on stage The boater was nice, I mean we're not going to be best friends after a day in the water, but I had no problems and I talked to a buddy I go to church with and he co-anglered for 2 years and said all boaters were kind and curtious. Do it if you can it was a bast! My next one is in two weeks I can't wait! Quote
