Jake P Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I havent been nor will I be out fishin until spring due to a broken finger. Really doesnt bother me since I have recently grown to hate cold weather. I just placed an order at TW to stock up for the spring. Other than terminal tackle and line, I really only ordered 2 things. 15 1/4- 1/2 oz Red Eye Shad and 8 MegaStrike Strikeback spinnerbaits. This will be my first go with MS spinnerbaits but I figure if they are even half as good as the Cavitrons, They will catch fish. Obviously I have more lures rigged up but these get the most play up until I'm looking deep with big worms and Jigs in June. What are your most productive spring time presentations? Quote
Christian M Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I do really well with live target LMB jerkbaits in the spring. When its really early in the spring I like to carolina rig 3" powerbait lifelikes Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted January 18, 2013 Super User Posted January 18, 2013 Aside from a T-rigged soft plastic, I love throwing a square bill CB in the spring. Quote
Super User Marty Posted January 19, 2013 Super User Posted January 19, 2013 Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, Chatterbait style, and topwater if the water's warm enough, say 55°. Soft plastics when I have the patience. Quote
