i would like to have the benefit of having polarized lenses without having to but another pair of glasses ( i wear Rx glasses)so im thinking clip ons would be my best bet. does anyone have a pair? i need  them to fit my ray-bans..

The Strike King clip-on that Walmart carries works good. I also use Cacoon clip-ons.

Cocoons make clip-ons. I use Cocoons Aviators that fit over my glasses and wrap around the sides giving me total UV protection.

I have to wear Rx glasses all the time.  I bought magnetic polarized lenses that fit over the Rx glass, just like clip ons but magnetic. They worked very well but the magnet fell out and now I have to tape them on.

I've been using the same 2 pair of flip ups, gray and and amber for the last 3 years, little scratched now.  I have been perfectly satisfied, but I think I may try the cocoons next.

I use the amber for freshwater and the grey for offshore ocean.

I was born with glasses. ;D Have used clip-ons for many, many years. If you are going to get them, buy GOOD quallity clip-ons. Or, you'll be buying them a couple of times a year! The cheap ones you get at CVS are worthless. They scratch easily and create distortions.

3 years ago I bought my first pair of prescription polaroid glasses. I'd never go back now. The distortion and glare are gone now and they make great night driving glasses as well! Worth the initial expense. When it comes time to change your prescription, all you really need to do is buy the lenses and keep putting them in the same frames.

And if you elect to go that route, get titanium frames. Much more durable and lighter. JMO. :D

I wear glasses from as soon as I wake up in the morning until I go to sleep at night. I have an amber pair of Cocoons and a grey pair of Fit Overs. Both are great but the Fit Overs are a bit more comfortable.

Both have side shields. I used clip ons for a long time but I wouldn't go back to them at any price.

Try the fitovers in trilenium gold. Super protection & visibility. The wrap around design prevents dry eyes from the wind.

Before I got my prescription sunglasses, I used the fitovers. For me they were much more protection than the clip-ons.

Go to their website. They also sell frames in tortoise shell and you can order copper color lenses directly from them This is the combination I have. Copper lenses cut water surface glare best followed by amber then gray. The tortoise frames and copper lenses are available only directly from Cocoons, not through outside vendors.

I bought a pair of Cocons at bps, cuz I didn't want to spend 400.00 on RX glasses. I wore them twice, and trashed them..not worth the $$$ imho.

Wow! I love mine! I have the aviators because they fit over my prescription glasses. I also have prescription polarized sunglasses with gray lenses and use them for everyday use but far prefer the Cocoons for fishing.
