Work Boots

So, I spend about 10-12 hrs a day on my feet. I prefer a cowboy style boot w/o laces. I've tried what seems like every boot under the sun and have yet to find a pair that I love. Currently wearing Ariats that I've had about 3 months.. While they're ok(just ok) as far as comfortability, they have worn through the leather on the toes. Any suggestions?--I'm tired of spending $3-$400 a year just to have sore feet.

i picked these up b/c they were on sale at a local shop. turned out to be the most comfortable pair of boots i've ever owned so I bought a second pair.  they feel like a pair of Nike's on my feet. the first pair are like the ones in the link and say "Green Rubber" on the bottom.  Second pair I bought have the orange Timberland logo on the bottom and while they are amazingly comfortable, I like the first pair better.

I don't know how the rest of their Earthkeeper like is but its definitely worth a try.  I'm going to try the low cuts for hiking next.

Thorogood makes some awesome boots. They last forever and a day. Mine are some of the kost comfortable Ive worn. The Made in USA Carolinas are extremely comfortable and last a real long time. Ive heard great things about the US made Danners too. If you can afford them, order a pair of WESCOs. They are made in the US. Are the most comfortable boots you will ever wear, and have a life time warranty on the parts of the boot. If the toe wears out they will fix them and send them back to you.

Stay away from the Asian made work boots. The US made boots last twelve times as long. They cost a bit more but the quality is very well worth the extra money you are spending for them. Another thing to look for is are the boots re soleable. Whats the point in dropping a money on a good pair of boots if theyonly last as long as the sole? If the can be resoled you can extend the life of your investment. Getting a cobbler to add a leather cap to the toe of your boots will dramatically extend the life of the boots as well. Its cheap and depending on the cobbler most times looks as if the boots were made that way. Dont cheap out on your boots.

Or if you prefer, they sell rubber toe protectors at most outdoors stores. They are small and glue on to the toenof the boot.

Georgia makes a really good boots

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a pair of Georgia Muddogs that I wear outside of work, but they get quite uncomfortable after awhile. I think I may have made a mistake going to the Wesco website--those are crazy nice. Ima probably have to grab a pair.

Got mine at Cabela's about four years ago. Took some time to break in, but very comfortable once they were.
