ib_of_the_damned Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 What do you all think about this color pattern on cranks and lipless cranks? Any success? Thoughts? Thanks! http://www.***.com/descpage.html?PCODE=SKPC#pImage Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted March 21, 2010 Super User Posted March 21, 2010 It's a darn good color.I'd say go with it. I got some redeyes in that color and do just fine on them. Quote
Super User CWB Posted March 21, 2010 Super User Posted March 21, 2010 I like it better than sexy shad as it's more representative of the forage in the lakes I fish. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted March 21, 2010 Super User Posted March 21, 2010 I've got a red eye and a series 3 crank in that pattern. Seems to work just fine for me. Quote
247bassin Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I have a couple Cotton Cordell Super Spots in a color almost exactly like that. I caught a few small fish out of a friends large pond the other day off of them. I like the color scheme quite a bit, but I won't know for sure how much until I really get out there after them next week. Quote
BassThumb Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 One of the best. That color combo makes a good spinnerbait skirt, also. A little bit of orange nail polish on the belly doesn't hurt either. Quote
madbass Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Sexy this, Sexy that.....blah, blah. Talk about an over-used "name" just to make 'em sell. Good grief! It's Tennessee shad with little stripes! If you like it, try it. It's all about confidence. Quote
VABassin'14 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I bought one, but I haven't got to use it yet. That will probably change in the very near future. Like CBW said, I like it because it matches the bait fish in my area very well. Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted March 22, 2010 Super User Posted March 22, 2010 i like rapalas dt blue gill pattern better and also this one http://www.***.com/Bandit_Flat_Maxx_Crankbaits/descpage-BFMC.html#pImage Quote

Coonedawg Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 The Strike King XS1 in that color is deadly during the summer. Quote
SDoolittle Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I'm sure that sexy sunfish will catch plenty of fish, but I think people get too hung up on colors. Find a color that comes close and focus on the action, depth, speed, etc. Those things are almost always more important. Quote
