Going through my uncle's garage we came across a Lew's BB1L, not sure of manufacturer.  This thing is in mint condition, smooth and seems like an awesome find.  From reading the Lew's site this reel I'm guessing this is a mid to late 70's reel.  Can anyone tell me more about it?  I will post some pictures when I get them, my Uncle is going to email them to me.  I'm just interested in finding out more.  Thanks

I believe those were made by Ryobi. I have a Ryobi AD4000V which is essentially the same reel. It's close to (if not over) 30 years old and still casts very well.

1982-1984 and made by Ryobi. Not quite an AD4000V or AD5000V but in the day it was a pretty slick reel. They sold new for about forty five bucks while the Lews ran about $110.00 new. It brings back alot of memories. Thanks for showing it !!
