carrothead Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Bass Pro Shops sells a spinnerbait binder, but it isn't big enough (without extra pages) to hold all my spinnerbaits and jigs. After pages and a binder, it brings the total up to over 25 bucks just for a binder. Does anybody know of a cheaper alternative or another brand? Thanks! Quote
RyneB Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I just bought a plastics binder that velcros, not the kiind that zips all the way around it. I think it was $6. I bought extra pages for around $2 i believe. Since it velcros and doesnt zip, you can fill it with more spinnerbaits then you will ever need. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_37107____SearchResults Quote
carrothead Posted March 20, 2010 Author Posted March 20, 2010 Do you put multiple spinnerbaits in one pouch? I just thought the binder pages with dividers seemed like it would be easier to keep things organized. Quote
WoolleyBass Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I got a plano spinnerbait box that holds up to 36. It works really nice to organize them and it holds a lot. Here's a link. http://www.***.com/Plano_Spinnerbait_Box_3504/descpage-P3504.html Roby Quote
carrothead Posted March 20, 2010 Author Posted March 20, 2010 I might get the 7x6 inch BPS Tackle Binder, but which size do the replacement pages fit? The 8x10 or the 7x6? The website says 'FITS 7'' x 9'' BINDER'. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted March 21, 2010 Super User Posted March 21, 2010 I have to have three binders. The good thing about the binders is they take up less space. Quote
Javelin200 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I bought a Plano binder years ago. When I ran out of "pages", I just punched some holes in some HD ziplock sammich bags and added them in. Works great. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted March 21, 2010 Super User Posted March 21, 2010 I use an older model Plano spinnerbait box where the baits hang from the center vertically. For those of you using the pouch binder, do you have to let the baits dry out after use and before sealing them in the pouches ? A-Jay Quote
