Super User South FLA Posted January 12, 2013 Super User Posted January 12, 2013 Balitmore Ravens @ Denver Broncos Latest Line: Denver is a 8 1/2 point favorite Over/Under: 44 1/2 Points It is hard to believe that two future NFL Hall of Famers are headed in opposite directions, Lewis is retiring and Peyton has come back from a serious neck/spine issue to lead another team other than the Colts! Nevertheless, Baltimore is headed to high altitudes to play a much better offensive team and the Ravens aren't the same defensive powerhouse they use to be during Lewis's peak years. The cold and possibly snowy weather is going to squelch the total score! My pick: Denver 28 Baltimore 13 Green Bay Packers @ San Fransico 49ers Lastest Line: The 49ers are a 3 point favorite Over/Under 45 Points This is a close game to call, I really think the Pack is playing great now and that they have a chance of upsetting the 49ers, but a home game should give the 49ers a SLIGHT advantage. My pick: San Fransico 26 Greenbay 23 What's your prediction and why? Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted January 12, 2013 Super User Posted January 12, 2013 I just heard mannings throwing hand goes numb in the cold because of the surgery, not good for accuracy. Quote
Super User Teal Posted January 12, 2013 Super User Posted January 12, 2013 Denver 38, Baltimore 24 San Fran 31, Green Bay, 30 I really want Baltimore to win, but I just don't think they will be able to keep up. If Baltimore is going to win they are going to have start fast and getting chunks of yards on the ground, thus keeping manning off the field. Baltimore is going to have to force turnovers and not give Manning good field position. It's a tall order, I think they are capable, but I don't think it will happen. SanFran and Green Bay, heck I don't know, i have been going back and forth on this one. I give 49ers the edge because they are at home and are getting Smith back on defense. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted January 12, 2013 Super User Posted January 12, 2013 Denver and Green Bay I'm going with experience at the QB position. Quote
preach4bass Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I'm going with experience at the QB position. Yep. Quote

CoBass Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I'm going with the home teams in both games. I'm in the Denver area and it is cold right now (10 degrees), but the sun is shining and the wind is calm so it doesn't feel that cold. They are calling for snow today but it's supposed hold off until early evening. Quote
MrSwimJig Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Going to go with the Ravens in the bitter cold and going to go with a Packers team that seems to be getting healthy. 1 Quote
Super User South FLA Posted January 13, 2013 Author Super User Posted January 13, 2013 Wow, the Ravens came ready to play, the special team unit should do extra push-ups though. Quote
