Maico1 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Nice to see some common sense applied in the end. Quote
Super User Teal Posted January 13, 2013 Super User Posted January 13, 2013 I will assume that this story is true and that Johnny Morris, didn't have part in the litigation am did show up to apologize and refund Simple Life Outfitters. With that said I will be a man and, I will retract previous comments about Johnny Morris. Still upset that bps the corp did that but It takes a real man to put a stop to the things going on in your business and to apologize in person. 1 Quote
Jake P Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Even though they dropped it, it still makes me think twice. Starting that whole mess in the first place shows where their true intentions really are. This really disappoints me. I think I might order from TW for my annual income tax pre season purchase. Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 See what power and influence you guys hold. When BR members speak the mountains tremble. 2 Quote
SudburyBasser Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 We all piled on BPS and Johnny Morris but you have to admit that it was a class move by him to show up at the store personally and apologize. I have to give the man credit for that. 1 Quote
gripnrip Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 It's good to see they dropped. I have a store 20 minutes from me. I shop there all the time. There is 2 Academy's and 2 Dick's in my area as well. I give all them my support. I wish we still had a locally owned store here. I would support it more. Quote

cody_ia Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 we should all email BPS and let them know how we feel. since BPS charged me $20 to ship $55 worth of lures, ive started spending alot more $$$ in the local bait shops. Quote
wrat Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Sounds Like Johnny Morris is a class act and needs to pay a bit more attetion to what his creation(bps) is doing 1 Quote
