There are probably better options out there but I have Daiwa Exceller with 4.9:1. You can get them for 79.00. I use it for deep cranks. They are pretty rugged reels. Im not gonna call it bullet proof but it is pretty dang tough and i think it is a great reel for the moneyy.

I fish mostly with Lews Tournament Pro or Lews Tournament reels..but I do have a reg Lews speed spool that is 99.99 and they are awesome..you can get them in 5.4:1

I bought that exceller before I got my first Lews tp, now I'm hooked on them,..

I like a Pro Qualifier too especially if can find them on sale for $79. I own a 7.1.if can check to see if can find a Citica or up your money and get a Curado E5 if still can. Might have to resort to a used one. I own a E5 and that is my cranking reel and I love it.. I know nothing on the G series.

PM Goose52 about the PQ.

I'd recommend the Daiwa Exceller.  i have one that I use for deep cranking (it has a lower gear ratio), but I believe they also come in a 6.3:1 which is a good all around gear ratio.  If the Daiwa TD Pro is still available from BPS on sale for $69 I'd jump all over that one. It's a little on the heavy side, but is built like a truck and about as smooth as you can get even at the regular price.

For under a 100 bucks, a Pro Qualifier in 5.2:1 gear ratio or even the 4.7:1 if deep cranking would be hard to beat. Can be had new for 79.99 several times throughout the year.

I have seen them used for 60.00.

Get a 2013 lews bb1 $129 new on eBay but certain sellers will entertain offers. I was able to haggle a tournament pro down to $145 tonight with free shipping from sportsmans outfitters

Something at least 7ft in length and fiber glass. It will crank better than graphite, especially deep cranking. Preferably a M power, you can go MH.
