I'm getting ready to go to work and I just talked myself into going to the KC Sports Show on Friday.  It sucked last year and the year before that.It has sucked progressively worse the past 8 or 9 years.

But I got cabin fever and I'm going to go.  Maybe the seminars will be better this year.  That guy from Lake Quivera, Brent Chapman, who was BASS AOY is scheduled to speak.

Last year, or was it a few years ago, I got to hear Rick Clunn speak, and I wasn't impressed at all.  It was like he was just going through the motions.  He talked for 10 minutes about how smart he was because he invented a spinner bait that was somewhat different from other spinner baits.

Anyway, I got cabin fever and I'm going to the KC Sports Show on Friday, I hope it is better show than it has been the past few years, but I won't be surprised if it isn't.

I'm just wondering if anyone else feels this way about the KC Sports Show.

I've talked to Chapman several times, great guy and personable. He knows a lot about the local lakes also so maybe he can give you some info not just on fishing but specifics for a lake you might fish. You could always make that 2 hour drive to La Cygne for some winter bassing too!

Hey BB, that trip was sure worth it. congrats again on those 2 piggies!

Thanks Big Bassman. La Cygne is only a 40 minute drive for me so it's an easy day trip so I'm there most every week during the winter. It's not a numbers game usually but other than private ponds and the strip pits in SE KS it's about the only legit shot at a DD bass in the state.

I would love to pick your brain on some pit info. Got inlaws in Pittsburg, and would love to haul my kayak down to find a personal best LMB.

Better yet is catching a 24" fish for a Tourney in July!!!!
