Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 16, 2013 Super User Posted January 16, 2013 Speed come on out to Ca and Ill take you. I would want to go with somebody who could put me on a bunch of big fish like Big O. Or somebody who could teach me something that I would like to learn like fishing crawdads will Bob Crupi. Or something different for me like big stripers with Fish Chris or musky with a musky expert or Big Smallmouth with Roadwarior. I may very well take you up on that offer some day. Franchot, if your scenario ever happens I'll be in the car half-way there. LOL Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 16, 2013 Super User Posted January 16, 2013 See what your missing? You don't have to be a pro to do this either. 1 Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 16, 2013 Super User Posted January 16, 2013 In order to exist up here and succeed like that, you really do need to come correct with a beard. 1 Quote
fishinkeebs Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I would have to say larry dahlberg and Greg Hackney Quote
fstr385 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 KVD for the skills, but Jeff Kriet for the thrills. The few times I've seen Kriet on fishing shows, he seems hilarious. exactly what I was goin to say. Kriet is someone I could hang around all day. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted January 17, 2013 Super User Posted January 17, 2013 J- Just got back from up there brown fishing! It is a BLAST!!!!! Light line and big brutes! Check my fishing report. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/111605-milwaukee-fishing/ Quote
scrutch Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I'd fish with Hank Parker and Big O and I'd record every minute on video so I could go back and watch "game film" on the trip. I think there is so much to learn from those guys! Oh, and one more, Jesus. Now THERE'S a guy that knew how to fish! Quote
Hanover_Yakker Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I'll add one more to my list - Gary Klien - just the techniques and knowledge that could be bestowed upon you would be worth the trip! Quote
Fish Chris Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 JF, that Brown is SO Bad a$$ !!! Fish Quote
Topwaterspook Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I'd also like to add another pro to spend a day with. For a purely enjoyable time I'd choose Bobby Murray. Quote
aharris Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I would love to fish a new lake with Aaron Martens. They guy is awesome at figuring out new bodies of water. Second would have to be G-Man. He just seems like a cool guy to be around and he's the junk fishing master. Quote
Dinky Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 That would be a cool trip I actually have done this -though I did not fish. Like all the pros-he was able to put his lure in places the rest of us don't ever put our lures. Quote
Dinky Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Spend a day fishing with--? Kate Upton. Oh, it has to be a pro fisherman. It would depend on whether we were in a tournament or just out for fun. If a tournament any of them would be too focused to be of much help except by observation and a few quick questions, maybe. If for fun--so far none have been mentioned that I would not want to fish with. KVD would be at the top of my list. Grant Goldbeck would be a close second. I have been paired with many Bassmaster Elite tour pros both in the Bassmaster Opens as a co-angler and in the Elite Series as a Marshall. They were all very friendly, professional and willing to impart knowledge to the extent time permitted. As for the non-touring pros I have been paired with as co-angler----not so much. (although often these guys had a lot of local knowledge that could be helpful). Quote
Shoop05 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I would have to say Shaw Grigsby. I met him when I was about 13 or 14 on SuperBowl Sunday at a boat show. Not a ton of people were there. He just finished a demonstration and I got the chance to talk to him 1 on 1 for almost 30 minutes. As a teenager, I was pumped! I really like how he asked me questions, then would respond with his own ways and advice. He was one of the nicest guys I ever met, and to this day is still my favorite bass fisherman out there! Quote
jm37817 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Mark Zona. I can't watch his show without laughing. 1 Quote
Jake P Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Zona WITHOUT A DOUBT!!! And Big-O!!! If im going pro then probably Greg hackney or Gman.Or Mark rose or Alton Jones or Edwin Evers. But my first choice is DEFINITELY Zona! Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted February 7, 2013 Super User Posted February 7, 2013 Danica Patrick... on a really hot day... oe 2 Quote
29JMP29 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 im 16 but If I had the choice I would pick al lindner. I like fishing the areas that he fishes, and I love fishing for smallmouth. i have a ton of episodes recorded on my tv of angling edge and his show has taught me a ton. Jose Wejebe and Brent Ehrler would be a close second edit: can't forget joe bucher Quote
jkarol24 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 My favorite fisherman has always been Denny Brauer, so I would have to go with him. On this site, I would love to fish with JFranco. I've had the pleasure of riding along on the Bullet with him, but haven't had the chance to fish with him. I'm waiting for him to show me some of those smallie spots on Ontario For a pure good time, I would love to fish with EdBassmaster. He is the funniest dude alive Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 8, 2013 Super User Posted February 8, 2013 Denny is one of my favorites, too. I'd rather be a fly on the gunwale, than actually fish with him. We'll get out soon, I got a place you should see. Quote

Super User Catt Posted February 8, 2013 Super User Posted February 8, 2013 roadwarrior, Steve "Big O" Parks (this will happen), Fish Chris, George Welcome, Rolo to name a few The General Larry Nixon Quote
JayKumar Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Having had the good fortunate to fish with many of these guys, can say you will learn several key things from any one of them and have a good time with virtually all. Z is a more intense fisherman than you might know. Honestly can't pick one. Catt, I like the storm line, man! Quote
ATX Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Jeff Kriet. He is a true sportsman and one of the best in the world a catching deep bass. I actually might get to one day because I just married his cousin! Gotta meet him first though.. Quote
