Red colored baits  -like red rattle traps are very productive in spring -They are great for provoking strikes by tight lipt bass. I designed the New Red Shad Strike Back Spinner bait for just that purpose-PRE SRAWN COLD WATER BASSN

I have my moments.. They always rave about red baits in texas during spring. I might have to take a trip -Fork-or Rayburn--

Red is a shallow water color- The bass move up to the warmest water -which is usually shallow flats in spring. It is also very effective being pulled or ripped through the weeds in spring.

 

I designed the head to be two toned as well -Great looking bait but producing bass is what counts..

 

Hmmm by the picture below I think im still a little early - Froze the red right out of it.

Man Bobby, I gotta try these spinnerbaits. I'm probably late to the party on the special you had, but I'm gonna get a couple. I love the idea behind this and I'm convinced I need to give these a whirl.
