bear7625 Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 There is a jig called the goby sled from Buckeye Lures. I never tried them because they seemed kind of pricey. Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted March 18, 2010 Super User Posted March 18, 2010 Last year is the only experience I've had with them We fished Chequamegon Bay and rigged them on drop shots and on the Northland Slurp head. Quote
BassThumb Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I think they were designed to drop shot. That's how I've used them. Quote
jonny law Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 thanks for the responses. i do drop shot with the zoom goby's but these have the slot already in them for a tube jig to slide in and i wanted to try that out. I just cant seem to find a jig with the right size hook to fit it correctly. I was hoping someone would have a jig they used that worked. I might have to give the goby sled a try. Thanks again Quote

Thanks again I love the Goby Sled for all other baits but it seems that the Strike King Goby, when rigged on the on the Goby sled that the gap on the hook is not too good do to the Goby's big head and body! I did try a jig that Northland Tackle has and it worked ok, you can get them with or without rattles. Quote
