5fishlimit Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 That's a great deal! Where did you get these from? Quote
SudburyBasser Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Just a place called Ramakkos up here in Sudbury, Ontario. I'm afraid it's not a chain, just a local operated outdoors store in northern Ontario. Quote
bassh8er Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Looks like some good deals for sure, but around here, I don't think that the Red Eye Shad retails for $7.59 or the Havoc baits for $3.49. Quote
Bigbarge50 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 nothing beats supporting the local stores Quote

That's part of the privilege of living in northern Canada. A short bass season and high-priced lures. Quote
PondBoss Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 the only problem I see is, you didn't get the rod you went to get. lol Quote

I think it might have to do with the fact that everything i've ever seen with CA and US prices, everything is more expensive in CA. Just the value of the dollar there I guess. Quote

And I found a nice one but it was for baitcasters so I would have needed to buy one...though I was lusting after that Curado that was there. The funny thing is that our dollar and yours are basically at par. No, it's long been tradition that we get charged more regardless of what our dollar is doing. A few years ago when your dollar was trading at 90% of the Canadian dollar, the same vehicle went for several thousand more up here than it did down there. Quote
