PondBoss Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Did you guys not notice how Shaw was explaining to the camera on the next episode of where he should get a bite and why the bite would happen? He does that all the time on his show too. Don't think it's out of line at all for Ish to state what is probably well known as fact. He also called him a poacher joking around because they both got to a run of docks at the same time, Knowing Kreit, that dude is real easy to get spun out and headed toward negativeville. Honestly don't know how he deals with the highs and lows from minute to minute. He's just a nervous kinda guy. Quote
Shoop05 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Well Shaw does need those few extra seconds to name drop Strike King Ya, Van Dam and Ike do it too. They all do really, but sometimes Van Dam and Ike are obvious about it. 1 Quote

Shoop05 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I think that's what makes it even funnier. A-Jay Yea, I have no issue with it. These guys are marketing their products. It's nice to see the ties to each company. Quote
ProCrafter Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I purchased the extended pass both events and if I was a Lawyer I could sue the co. that produced this show as i was promised exclusive content....what I was made to believe, meant first view and extended coverage but what truly meant I got full coverage and the first view coverage went to the highest bidding sponsor. I have been around fishing and sports in general to know thats the way things work and as a rabid fan of tournament fishing, did not read all the fine print when signing up....in essence I was caught, put in a livewell and handled in a way they would not handle a fish....with that I will not be buying this program ever again and will just watch it with all the other seasoned viewers who, like an older fish have learned not to bite something that can hurt you. I do Congratulate Denny Brauer for his win and also his Toledo Bend victory....he is truly a national fishing treasure and will always have my respect. Quote
TriCityBassin' Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I am lost on the format. The new show comes on tonight and want this cleared up. Denny did his thing no doubt. But! The first round Ike crushed everyone! Then, he was totally gone from the competition. Ish won when he was "Trash Bombing" but then he had to go to sudden death elimination. I DVR'd all of them so unless my DVR missed an episode it is unexplained to me. Please explain the format to me. I am lost....am i the only one who found this confusing? Quote
gripnrip Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 The first elimination round was the highest 4 weights went on to the next round. The second round it was the first 3 to 24 pounds no matter what round they had that weight. The last round was the highest weight at the end of the rounds. Quote
solo_bro Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I think that's what makes it even funnier. A-Jay It was interesting to see KVD in his ups and downs beecause it was like KVD vs everyone in the beginning. All i can say is Ish was hurting people with the tungsten weights dropping bombs, it works for me too. Quote
