Super User Raul Posted March 16, 2010 Super User Posted March 16, 2010 J/K !!!!! ;D Well, not really, this past Sunday while rummaging through my stuff I discovered ...... holy crap ! I 've got hundreds of senko type baits , so this year to reduce my supplies I made a promise, all year long I 'm going to fish with senkos, yup, no other kind of soft plastic will be rigged on my hooks this year. Wish me luck, I might catch a fish or two. Quote
brushhoggin Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 i know the exact feeling. i have so many plastics in my tackle box its sickning. thats what i always say, gotta start using them all year round to get my moneys worth. good luck, i know i'm gonna need it! Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 LOL, whats next year style? You seriously downsizing? WOW!!!!!! Quote
David Rangel Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 indeed good luck! And I hope that you accomplish soon your low senko inventory limit ! David Quote
JigMe Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Yeah, seriously good luck down sizing. I have been telling myself not to buy anything until I have used them up, but somehow I always end up with more lures... Quote
Brian B Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 plastics are like beautiful girls, the more you have the better, dont ever turn one down Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted March 16, 2010 Super User Posted March 16, 2010 Feel free to send me all those other plastics that you're not going to use. I'll give them a happy home. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 17, 2010 Super User Posted March 17, 2010 Hmm... If you want to dispose of you stash, $4.00 a pack and they will be gone in a day. 8-) Quote
bigfruits Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 trade some. 10 dollars says you tie on another worm by fall. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted March 17, 2010 Super User Posted March 17, 2010 The stick worms in my den cabinet could only be measured in pounds: Ø Gambler Ace Ø Yamamoto Senko Ø Strike King Ocho Ø Wave Worm Tiki Stick Ø Yum Dinger Ø Strike King Zero Ø Netbait Salt Lick Ø Bass Pro Stik-O Ø Manns Freefall Worm Still and all, fishing with nothing but drop worms would make for one BORING year I'll give you two outings before you cave. Super User K_Mac Posted March 17, 2010 Super User Posted March 17, 2010 With all due respect, I don't think so. You will catch fish without a doubt, but worms, creatures, grubs, craws, chunks, flukes, frogs, and probably a dozen others that don't come to mind right now, all have their time. Resistance is futile... ;D Quote
BC Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I guess I'm weird like that. I've never even fished another stick style bait besides the senko, and I guess I've been fishing them for 9 years. Guess I'm boring, and have confidence in them. I've probably only owned a total of 6 different colors over that time, in 4" and 5". I'm probably missing out, but I'm also realizing that I don't have time to fish all the different styles of soft plastics that I own as it is. So one style stick bait it is! Quote
Super User Raul Posted March 17, 2010 Author Super User Posted March 17, 2010 LOL, whats next year style? You seriously downsizing? WOW!!!!!! For next year the decission has been made it will be soft plastic craws year. Downsizing ? hmmm, not exactly .... need more room for other stuff, it 's that or a bigger house. ;D Quote
L a r r y Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Wish me luck, I might catch a fish or two. Every five minutes, then you will have to change out the senko....This should diminish your stock pretty quick Quote
tnbassfisher Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I always tell myself to do this with my plastics. But I can never seem to make myself dispose of one until it just won't hold onto the hook any longer. So my rate of buy to use would have to be about 100:1. Quote
