Mud River Matt Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Ok guys, I am new here and fairly new to fishing, but I LOVE it. I have traded a decade long drug habit for a NASTY fishing habit..... LOL... Which is a good thing, So my question is, I am looking to get a new crankbait rod. I will probably be getting a Abu Garcia Veritas rod. I need help with getting the right rod. It will be my only crankbait rod for awhile so I want it to be versitile as far as what type of crankbaits it will handle. I need help with the length selection and action selection. Also, any input on what other applications I may be able to use this rod for as well. Thanks for any and all replies in advance. Quote
11justin22 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Congrats on kicking the habit and getting on the right track! If u want a veritas for cranks get the winch 7' medium. It will be versatile enough for most cranks. Quote
