shimmy Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Here is a fun video to pass the time. Tried editing it on iMovie for Mac which was actually quite pleasant. Hope no one that watches it actually takes it seriously. It is made for fun. The video is just a prequel of some more aimless ones i'll make later. It's short. Hard part is timing it with the music. One of these days i'll purchase an advanced video editor. This is fun to do and i advise others if they get bored this winter to make a video. This is at Beaverdam Reservoir in Ashburn, VA. A fun 350 acre lake but had a bad drought in 2005-2006 reducing it to 5 or 10% pool and to save the fish due to depleting oxygen levels people were told to keep what they caught and the lake took a good hit. I moved here after the fact in 2009 just in time for the fishing to get back up. I'm sure there a few monsters left in there that survived that drought and am still on the hunt for them. Nevertheless, i love fishing this reservoir and was very humbled when i started fishing it. It's getting easier now but i have suffered dearly to even build confidence out there. Hope this video passes the time and hopefully you all consider making some more videos as well. Merry Christmas, happy new year, and get the net. Troy Watch in HD, looks better 2 Quote
CPBassFishing Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 no wonder i couldnt get any bites there. there's hardly any fish left! i had no idea that had happened. hopefully the ecosystem will recover so we can fish it again. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted December 28, 2012 Super User Posted December 28, 2012 Great video Troy. Short & sweet. My wife was fist pumping to the music. Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 28, 2012 Super User Posted December 28, 2012 Outstanding video. Would be even better if you would deep six the red cap with the white A on it. That cap ruins the production. Happy New Year and Geaux Tigers! Quote
