Any one know a very large tackle bag? I have a big tackle box that has three trays on each side and the bottom part of the box can hold two 3500 boxes and a smaller box (I couldn't find the model) ,but it is so heavy and bulky. So I'd rather have a tacke bag ,but it has to be pretty big. Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Just got the large Shimano bag, and EVERYTHING I own/need is in there. There is still room for more if needed. Just an idea, 5 3600 boxes, 1 3700 box, 7 gallon size ziplocs full of plastics all on the inside. Front outer is all 50 bags of Gambler swimmers. Left outer has cleaning/repair kit, gloves, pliers, scissors, 5 spools of line, and L&L. Right outer has cull kit, bug spray, dips, dyes, and other misc stuff. Rugged bottom with cleats, and the material is strong thick stuff. I think the bag weighs close to 60-70lbs with all my stuff in it.

I was recently looking on the Cabelas web site. Their advanced angler bags are on sale in the bargain cave for less than $40 (no boxes). A good deal.

Might have to look in to these bags--sound nice, :eyebrows:

I got the Bass Pro Shops Extreme Qualifier 370 (camo and red) last week and am very pleased with it. Holds a good deal of tackle.

That said, if I ended up with the Cabela bag that was mentioned in the thread that roadwarrior linked to above, I would have not been displeased. The various sizes from Cabela makes your choice pretty customizable where the BPS 370 bag is limited to one size (though a generous one that can hold five 370 boxes in the main compartment and probably another three 360 boxes in the size compartments).

As cool as the Cabelas advanced angler bags are, I went to Cabelas the other day and these bags just aren't as nice as I was hoping. The quality just wasn't there, and the large size only came with 4 small boxes. If you want a really nice, well made, and cheap bag, go to Cabelas and pick up a Plano Softsider x 3700. This bag comes with 4 large boxes, 1 medium box, and 2 small boxes. It has plenty of space, and it is an all around, good bag.

Thanks I'll definitely check into that bag.

If you're going to get the Plano bag, you should probably go to Cabelas soon, because online they don't have it anymore, and I'm guessing what's left in the retail stores is going to be gone soon.

Actually, I think you can get them at Tackle Warehouse.
