What Color Braided Line Do You Use?

I use fluoro, braid and mono depending on the type of fishing I'm doing, but overall I've been a braid fan for several years now. I have tried white (Suffix), green (all of 'em) and yellow (PowerPro) and have realized that the high-viz yellow PowerPro works really well for me when I'm fishing a Senko or other slow baits since I can see the line twitch before I feel it. But I've always wondered if that color spooks fish, even if you use a fluoro leader (I always use a 3-4' leader with the bright lines.)

Senko and deadstick rod -- Yellow (with a fluro leader)

Everything else -- Green (no leader)

What about you guys? Any colors you use for any particular reason?

What type of water color are you fishing? I would imagine the yellow wouldn't be too bad in murky or stained water, but you can see it from a mile away in clear water. I usually just go with green.

I use Power Pro in green. The good thing abut it is when it seems to fade, it regains color when its wet.

I just stick with Moss Green or the equivalent... I personally have no need to use another color.

Green as well even in mono I go green most of time.

I use straight hi vis yellow most of the time and darken 10-15 ft. at the end with a magic marker. In clearer water I use a leader

I use yellow with a leader for everything except moving baits. My old eyes don't see the green move as well as they used to.

Yellow with red highlights that I add--Daiwa Samuari-- finesse

Mulit-color with a bunch of different colors--Daiwa Saltiga---finesse

Green Spiderwire Stealth--horizontal presentations, big jigs, A-rig, and heavy duty topwater (frogs, etc)

Green Stren Sonic -- lipless cranks, and small topwater

Yellow Power Pro with no leader. I've tried it both ways and I haven't noticed any reductions in the quantity of bites, so why bother with the leader?

Green Power Pro. I have tried all 3 (Yellow Hi-Vis, Red and Moss Green) Yellow with a fluoro leader caught me fish but the yellow faded and it's not as hi-vis as I thought. I went through that line wicked fast to keep the bright yellow. Red was hard to see and tried it before the yellow for visibility. Green I can use with or without a leader. The moss blends in well around here. Will never change again.

Good to know I'm not the only one that has had success with the yellow braid (with or without leader.) I always wondered if I just got lucky, or if other folks used it as well. None of the guys I fish with uses the high-viz line, but my eyes really depend on it these days, it seems.

I especially like the idea of marking the last few feet with a waterproof sharpie or marks-a-lot... I honestly hadn't thought of that, but it's a great idea.

I use moss green. I personally don't need to see the line. One thing I'm convinced of, I may not see what a fish does. I can't see a dark lure in the water at night, but a fish will strike it, even a black or purple worm is productive, and that bait can't be creating too much vibration.

On my spinning rods I prefer the White braid with app a 10' florocarbon leader, I can see the White line a lot better than the green. On my Frog rod I stay with green braid with no leader, with the strikes being obvious there is no need to see my line.

Yellow PP with the last bit colored or a leader occasionally for my spinning set ups and then i go with Yellow for any bottom contact baits and green for everything else. Brands vary but right now i have all PP on there but i may switch to the PP super slick this season.
