Give the Bass pro Carbonlite a look, love mine. Others love theirs. Oh so lite but strong and as a plus it is not shimano. Hehehe.

Bass pro also makes the browning rods and they have their top of the line(out going style) that originally was 120 on sale for 79 a couple days ago.

Heard good things about the falcon though, if I was buying today I would give it a serious look.

Bucoo or carbonlite if it were me (I own both). Assuming your throwing the standard 3/8-1/2 spinners, start with a H in the bucoo line. The 6'9'' MH XF carbonlite or 7' MH F carbonlite will suit you well.

The carbonlites are nice, I think if you like the reel seat you should give the veritas a hard look. Especially the micro guide version. 30 million modulus blank and the fact that it fishes a little stouter will allow you to fish heavier spinnerbaits well. Just my input, a lot of rods in your price range...inspect the rods on the rack well, make sure they were handled okay in the store

If your going to bass pro carbonlite would be my first pick, behind that would be the veritas. I haven't fished with the bucco but it feels like a very like nice rod too.

For spinnerbaits??? Save some cash and buy a 7' MH Lightning rod shock for $50. I use that rod for spinnerbaits, frogs, swimjigs, etc.. best $50 rod I have ever bought. I keep jigs and plastics tied to my St Croix Avids, and LTBs, and while the lightning rod shock is no where near those rods in terms of sensitivity, you can't beat it for $50 to toss reaction baits.

The Veritas can be had for $70 at walmart.com. Fantastic rod.

Can't disagree with that. I have the same rod and for $40 does everything I could want it to for moving baits.
