BassmanfromNC Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 has anyone tried these or worth giving a try??? Quote
WdyCrankbait Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Do you have a link to them? I am desperately wanting to try some snakes this year, haven't used them in the past. All I have been able to find is some Case Plastic snakes http://www.caseplastics.com/case/index.php?cPath=27_73 I have not tried these out, but maybe as another option. Quote
bowfish12 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Go to the mann's bait company website, they are on there and you can buy directly from them. As far as how they work, I don't know, they are 10" long, but are not very beefy. Quote
tholmes Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 http://www.mannsbait.com/2009%20Catalog/catalog.asp?Jump=12 look in the bottom right-hand corner of the page. Tom Quote
WdyCrankbait Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Thanks for the link. It looks like Case has the better deal for your $$ in the long run. Other then that, they look identical. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted March 12, 2010 Super User Posted March 12, 2010 I have had a pack for about two years and fished them maybe once. They are basically a 10'' worm with a flat and thicker body. they don't float like the Doug Hannon snakes, you use a constant retrieve for a topwater swimming action, it looks like a snake swimming though. Taylor Fishin 4 life Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 they work pretty good i have caught a few fish on them Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted March 13, 2010 Super User Posted March 13, 2010 I fish em like a giant worm. they work great in that scenario. I've also rigged them weightless over weeds and dropped them into the holes in the grass, work ok for that. Good luck Quote
Beastie Bass Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 NO! THESE BAITS DO NOT CATCH FISH AT ALL! If you have any of these baits, they have been known to have faulty accelerator pedals and bad brakes! Please PM me and I will dispose of any of these dangerous baits free of charge. I will even pay shipping! ALL IN THE NAME OF SAFETY MY FRIENDS!! ;D Quote
