I use to pop ephedrine when I was lifting hardcore, the truckers used to call them white crosses. I started with 2 then worked my way up to 6 or 7 at a time. No need for coffee when you take that stuff, but apparently pretty addicting and dangerous, the things you do when your young..

I knew I was hooked on coffee and caffeine when I went to the Dr. for sinus problems and the medicine he gave me was caffeine based. I didn't even feel it. I called his office about it, and the first thing the nurse asked me was if I drink a lot of coffee.

C'mon Al, that sounds more like bud's coffee.

It should go double Jameson, hold the whipped cream for sissies. But then again Big O drinks mint juleps, who am I to judge.

Back to the original topic. The strongest coffee I ever had ( love strong coffee myself) was the Leboneese coffee some natives that migrated to the states shared with me. Good ****, if you have a chance to try Arabic coffee( dunno how common that type stuff is in bama but nova and Tampa had a few places) and while your there try Arak too. You won't be disappointed on either.

Isn't that Lebonese stuff the coffee that is chewed and spit into a jug then brewed? Yummy! :)

I just saw a commercial for Duck Dynasty where a goat or sheep was processing something in the back of the mini van. Is that what you're refering to?

I must have missed that commercial, but I did recently watch the MWC episode from which your avatar is taken. Is that like sleeping at a Holiday Inn Express?

That wasn't a minivan, it was a $70,000 Escalade! :o

I never heard of an Aeropress before.  I may need to check into that.

Here's the type of "French Press" i was referring to!

Oh!  And yes, I do have some Chickory coffee straight from LA, but I don't think it's strong enough, so I gotta mix it in with my dark roast to give it a different flavor.

I hope it is.  Anything to improve mental capacity.  I'm reaching the age where I'm forgetting things faster than I can learn them.  .

so... with the Aero press..... you heat up the water yourself and pour into the press....correct?

you only make enough that you will drink at one time.....one cup at a time?

do you need a certain coffee cup?  or will it fit most sizes?

If you're using a regular drip and running it through a filter, try using two filters instead of one.

Keeps the water in the coffee for a longer period. Just a thought to save you from the "burnt" taste and also plugging up your coffee pot.

Bb

One cup at a time.. The only cup I've found to be too small is one of those little tea cups japanese or chinese.

Glenn, if you try the Aeropress, you will do what I did; put away your french press.. Aeropress is the french press, perfected. Just grind your coffe for paper filter, not for press.

Kopi Luwak. 65$ a cup. I refuse to drink any coffee that requires I floss afterward !
