Well, it's been a slightly busier year than normal and I've literally not had the chance to get away to go fishing since August. Any suggestions on whether it's worth it to go out tomorrow, and if so what should I do or try? I'll be pond hopping in the UCF area.

I live in South FL, so I can't help you where to go. However what I will tell you is if you have not gone out fishing since August, you owe to yourself to get out. I know a cold front just came through, slow down your presentation, be patient and your never know what might just happen.

I spent Friday and Saturday in Orlando. Temps dropped to low 30's onvernite Friday nite. Been 70' all frickin week and will go back up today (Sunday), now that I left and came home. Froze my cheeks off at Disney, but I would have fished if I would have brought a rod. Lol, I keep saying that year after year but never do.

Yeah, it was a nice day out, but I only caught one fish. I was trying to see if I could spark some activity with a reaction bait and then dead-sticking the same path after priming the area. I only caught one fish, 2 1/2 lbs, but I peeked the interest of a 4lb bass, but just never even picked up the bait.

My wife said she's planning a trip for me to make sure I can actually fish the spawn this year, so when would the best time to go to the stick marsh be to get the most out of the spawn?

Yep. Go fishing.

Then come home and watch the football games for the rest of the week.

Merry Christmas!
