Sun Fish Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 I was comparing the Humminbird® 587ci DI Sonar/GPS Combo to the Lowrance Elite-5 DSI/GPS. I see the Lowrance has the trackback feature which will allow you to go back and pinpoint an exact piece of structure you went over to mark a waypoint. Does the Humminbird models also allow you to do this for marking waypoints or is this exclusive to Lowrance? Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted December 22, 2012 Super User Posted December 22, 2012 No, Humminbird does not store history older than what is displayed. You can mark a waypoint for any subject on the screen though. You just pause the screen scrolling, move the curser to the subject and push the Mark button to save that waypoint. Quote
