Super User roadwarrior Posted December 26, 2012 Super User Posted December 26, 2012 I'm using a 1/8 oz jig head with enough shank to get the hook almost to the tail. For topwater the tail should be horizontal. To fish it like a minnow, rig it so the tail is vertical. When used as a swim jig trailer, also rig it vertical. Play around with different weights to see what you like. Remember, the body must be straight for proper presentation. Oops! This should be obvious, but I will mention it anyhow: separate the tail. Super User Dwight Hottle Posted December 26, 2012 Super User Posted December 26, 2012 I like the rage toads & rage shads in any color, as long as it's white. They make good swim jig trailers too. Quote
