Big-O Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 At one certain spot, they must've been having their own little "Bass Super Bowl", because the first two I caught there were this BLIMP and this Perfect FOOTBALL... Several others followed suit and made this stop memorable for sure! It's amazing how fast the fish can change from long and lean, to all CHUBBED up in just a few weeks after the first cold snap! Caught'em dragging 1oz jigs with Rage Lobster trailers. When the Fall weather in Tx turns cold and Windy... It's time to gear up and put the pads on because the Bruisers won't necessarily play fair with you The BITE and the FIGHT are serious because they're feeding up and adding as much weight as possible for Winter So IMO, if you want a Big Ole Pig... this is a GREAT time to Get'r'dun 1 Quote

Big-O Posted December 14, 2012 Author Posted December 14, 2012 We have plenty of Small Fish Bankbeater... but for some reason the camera doesn't ever work on them And Capt. Shane, that 1oz jig may not work so well dredging some of the Fla Glade bottoms... It's better for the harder bottoms or flipping. Now a 1/4 to 3/8 might give'em the business Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted December 14, 2012 Super User Posted December 14, 2012 Nice fish Steve! WOW Quote
