Bobby Uhrig Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I had gotten asked to hop up on the Hawg Trough and do a seminar at The Garden Stae Outdoor Expo.. It will show you how some of the Megastrike Products look and work under water. The stand was on the camera side and there was a lot of people there watching. I hope this will give you an idea about some of our products .Remind you that these bass have seen every baits from every manufacture - many times a day--They seem to really like and hold on when Megastrike was applied -Also watch the swim bait movement- 4 Quote

Bigbarge50 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 This video seems to prove two things 1)- The quality of megastrike (will be buying more) 2)- The idea of "pressure" being over blown...... these fish seeing the same lures time after time in such a limited space.... over and over again, yet they keep getting completely fooled. While I believe pressure exists and conditioning occurs (and these are hungry fish in the tank) I am not sure that fish with hundreds of acres of water and a tiny brain with a very limited ability to remember anything know that your throwing the same crank as the guy last week. gripnrip Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Great products! I'll be purchasing some this next year! Quote

I dont think it proves that at all. If you jack those fish with a big fat hook a few times they wouldnt bite anything for at least 24 hours. Quote
Curved Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Great showmanship and great overview for beginners. Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 Its actually a great tool for showing people how fish really relate to cover /structure under water. Also how they school up and not often alone down there Quote
Bigbarge50 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I dont think it proves that at all. If you jack those fish with a big fat hook a few times they wouldnt bite anything for at least 24 hours. Well I did qualify and say that pressure exists just maybe not to the extent some of use would like to say, and that is coming from a guy in Northern VA where you have some of the highest pressured lakes you can find. I think we have all heard that fish will not bite again in "insert time here", yet I am sure we have all heard (or seen ourselves) fish caught again in an hour or so. I am not sure hooking a fish creates a standard waiting period, I think it depends on the fish. There is a great video on here with a biologist who says a bass had a memory that can not last longer than a few minutes. While conditioning in the form a pavlo's dog could exist with fish, it would seem to be more on us to coax a reaction bite then them seeing too many lures and not biting. Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 Sometimes it takes something as simple as a certain twitch of the rod tip to make the bait react a certain way which causes a reaction strike. You can see it in this video with the shakey head and worm. Quote
