Super User LgMouthGambler Posted December 11, 2012 Super User Posted December 11, 2012 preference? Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted December 11, 2012 Super User Posted December 11, 2012 LMG my preferred line is not listed: P-Line CXX (copoly). Quote
tstone Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 All my rods but my cranking setups have braid. That being said, the only non-braid I use is YoZuri Hybrid. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 11, 2012 Global Moderator Posted December 11, 2012 Only 2 lines I use are listed and of those 2 I prefer Seaguar. A lot of my fishing is done with P-line though. Quote
Super User LgMouthGambler Posted December 11, 2012 Author Super User Posted December 11, 2012 LMG my preferred line is not listed: P-Line CXX (copoly). would only let me put 6, I wanted to add P Line. Ill count the vote, lol Quote
Super User LgMouthGambler Posted December 11, 2012 Author Super User Posted December 11, 2012 Fixed it Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted December 11, 2012 Super User Posted December 11, 2012 I am 50/50 with seagar and sunline but sunline was not an option. Quote
Quitlimpin Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I'm almost 100% yo-Zuri. I've tried everything out there, and keep coming back to it. I was also a HUGE fan of the gamma copoly. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted December 11, 2012 Super User Posted December 11, 2012 Probably the second best tip I've got from this board (thanks to RW) was the pointer to Yo-Zuri. I now have it on most of my reels. I have braid on a couple, and some nylon mono on others, but YZ is now the "standard" go-to on nearly all the new reels I purchase... Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted December 11, 2012 Super User Posted December 11, 2012 Power pro braid as a main line with Seaguar leaders. Quote
Clint C. Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Out of those ... Yo-Zuri. Not on the list. Sunline FC Finesse or Sniper Quote
Jake P Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Yo zuri is on every single reel I own. Bass, catfish and panfish. Quote
dam0007 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Mono - Spider Wire Fluoro - Seaguar Braid - Spider Wire SW FTW!!!! Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted December 11, 2012 Super User Posted December 11, 2012 65lb braid for a 2lb fish... really? If that's what you're catching, it really don't matter. Quote
backcast88 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 My line of preference is not on the list. XPS Flouro in 8 lb and 12 lb. Quote
Super User LgMouthGambler Posted December 11, 2012 Author Super User Posted December 11, 2012 Btw Yozuri's line is garbage You must be talking about the wrong line. Quote
KDW96 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Ive been using Trilene XL for years. The new xl isnt as good. With that said,i will be looking to try YOZURI first thing this spring. Ive read alot of good things about it here. Question: BPS has yozuri hybrid250yds and hybrid ultra soft 600yds. Which one do you all recommend or use most. (600yd vs 250yd) . Its not available to buy locally,so ill be ordering from somewhere. Quote

I purchase all of mine from flea bay, big fish sports. This store routinely sells 12lb green 600 yd spools for 6-10 bucks. Seeing how its on six of seven reels I buy 2 spools per year Quote
KDW96 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Is the 600yds ultra soft hybrid basically the same as 250yd of hybrid, just curiuos of the yds difference Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted December 11, 2012 Super User Posted December 11, 2012 Btw Yozuri's line is garbage Really?? Please explain yourself and maybe we can help. Quote
Super User S Hovanec Posted December 11, 2012 Super User Posted December 11, 2012 none of the above Quote
Super User LgMouthGambler Posted December 11, 2012 Author Super User Posted December 11, 2012 dont use Ultra Soft unless for spinning. TW has 600yd spools of regular for cheap. Quote
dam0007 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I have explained myself on other threads. Line is horrendous. Also not a fan of Sufix but that's from one spool that was used on a pre owned reel I tried. May try a fresh spool one day. Quote
