For example fishing like them, using special baits for certain fishing, having a rod for every type of bait out there "lol." But me, (being more new to the bass fishing world, since i've trout fished all my life) Have more a less have been overwhelmed with the vast majority of "components/techniques" to this sport. Though my question is more directed to crankbaits, of course you fish the whole water column, and i would assume one of the more productive colors is more silver like baitfish. I was wondering other than baitfish colors, what are productive colors for fishing largemouth. Also when you are fishing (if you don't have a fish finder) Where would be the best place to through baits, and why kind of bait in that area, depth, etc etc. I would really appreciate if you gave me some good information on other things since this whole thing is overwhelming me and i want to buy everything "lol" Thanks Also i would like to add, sorry if i posted in the wrong "forum for say" Points, points, points. Simple, throw a T-rigged worm, green pumpkin, start shallow work to the deep part, record how far you dragged your worm before you got a strike and keep doing the same thing for each point you fish. My favorite Colors for plastics: Green pumpkin, most of the time, Watermelon Red, Spring, spawning time, June bug, Post Spawn Red bug, Summer time. Good luck and be safe !!! Quote

Super User Raul Posted December 17, 2012 Super User Posted December 17, 2012 You know you have completed the circle when you know that "ALL" in not necessary, you only need a handful of very well selected lures and a lot of knowledge and practice to catch fish on a consistent basis. Now, if only I could convince myself of that.... but as the old say says: "better have and not need than need and not have" ( well, at least that´s what The BaitMonkey says ); so there I am everytime I go wet a line with enough tackle to sink a boat just to find out at the end of the day I fished and caught fish with the same stuff I´ve used for the last 2 decades.
