Brendan Duffy Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 What are your favorite suspending jerkbaits? Quote
MtCarmelTriton20x Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 115 Squad Minnow produces the best for me. Quote
RandySBreth Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 For cold water (letting it suspend for 30 seconds or longer by a piece of cover) the XCaliber XS4. For the more traditional "twitch-twitch-pause" thing, XRap. Quote
bassman31783 Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 The Lucky Craft Staysee & Pointers are probably the best looking/preforming suspending jerkbaits in my tackle box. However my best fish catching jerk bait is a BPS XPS suspending jerkbait. Go figure. :-? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 9, 2010 Super User Posted March 9, 2010 Pointer 100 & 128 X-Rap (XR08) Sebile Koolie Minnow Megabass Ito Vision 110 8-) Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Another vote for Lucky Craft profucts. Staysee, Pointer and I also have had good luck with the Flash Minnow. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted March 9, 2010 Super User Posted March 9, 2010 My most productive jerkbaits are: 1-Pointer 78 in American Shad, and Chartreuse Shad. 2-X-Rap 08 in Olive Green, Sliver, Sliver Blue, and Hot Pink. 3-XCalibur Xt3 in Pearl Melon. 4-Bomber Long A in Firetiger, and Baby Bass. Super User Hooligan Posted March 9, 2010 Super User Posted March 9, 2010 I'm going to go against the grain a little, I really like the Wild Shiner in spring. Husky jerks and Xraps through the year. Quote
Beastie Bass Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Another vote for Lucky Craft Pointers 98s and 100's but another one that produces for me is the Yo-zuri Pins Minnow. Quote
Primus Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I'm going to go against the grain a little, I really like the Wild Shiner in spring. Husky jerks and Xraps through the year. I have one Strike King Wild Shiner in a Chrome Baby Bass color that 's scratched up because it's caught a lot of fish and Strike King probably doesn't have the most durable finishes, there is something about this particular one that really calls in the bass.
