Are you thinking about buying a Power Pole, or a new jack plate, or even replacing your prop? If so, then an excellent trove of information can be found by contacting Hydrilla Gear. I believe that the owner, Rich Fitzgibbon, has forgotten more information about the installation and use of these items than most of us will ever learn. His website has tons of information and videos on these subjects, plus it has a very cool prop pitch calculator. In addition, Rich offers Optima batteries, the Cadillac of marine batteries. Free shipping is included with almost all products. Oh, and check out their apparel. The logo looks great on T-shirts, etc.

Hydrilla Gear offers an ongoing discount to members of the military and to our First Responders. Further, the discount now applies to BassResource members who place orders before Christmas.

I would also like to give a quick shoutout to Rich at Hydrilla Gear. Although I have not spoken to him specifically regarding his great products, I have spoken with him over the phone regarding the business side of things. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable and willing to help further the sport of fishing by being willing to invest in tomorrows professional bass fishermen. I look forward to working with Rich in the future, and although our dealings have been brief, I can vouch for his willingness to work with you on a one on one basis.

I have the Power-Pole Blades and love them! Very quiet operation, and strong enough to hold you swift current!

I can attest to the fact the Rich is not only a honest and knowledgable businessman, but is very knowledgable about setting up bass and peformance boats for optimum operation so whether it be prop choice, pad to prop distance, or powerpole configurations he is the MAN!
