Super User NorcalBassin Posted December 2, 2012 Super User Posted December 2, 2012 I hate Christmas with a passion........ That's a bummer Bro. The commercialization of Christmas can certainly get on my nerves, but I love seeing the innocent joy in my kids' eyes this time of year. We go out of our way not to "spoil" them, but it's awesome making lifelong memories with them that they'll warmly remember even after we're gone. Quote
Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted December 2, 2012 Super User Posted December 2, 2012 I love everything about Christmas. The food, the decorations, and especially the presents. Money's tight this year though so its gonna have to be a thrifty Christmas. I know my girlfriend isn't expecting much but Ill do what I can. No kids but I like buying for my dog. If we wrap up a squeak toy and show him that it squeaks he'll tear the paper off himself. It's pretty funny. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted December 2, 2012 Super User Posted December 2, 2012 Christmas is a time for kids and family. Regardless of your religious beliefs, it's a time of coming together. I love this time of year. 2 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted December 2, 2012 Super User Posted December 2, 2012 First off, let's not forget the reason for the season. I'm pretty frugal most of the year. It's the one time a year i spoil myself with fishing stuff and new tools. As far as the family stuff, my boy is grown. We do my family on the 24th and her family on the 25th for the get togethers. Santa's getting me something good this year. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted December 2, 2012 Super User Posted December 2, 2012 I don't celebrate xmas, but I really enjoy this time of year. I like the holiday decorations and the spirit of the season, we usually have friends and relatives coming to Fla over the holidays which is an added bonus for me. Quote

I love Christmas and all the good things that come with it like being with family. I hate the fact that anymore it's all about buying stuff. Quote

Super User clayton86 Posted December 2, 2012 Super User Posted December 2, 2012 Iv never had a good Christmas so I hate this time of year. As a kid growing up it was spent bouncing between parents fighting over who I spend it with. Once married it was spent fighting with the wife. Now this year I'm getting a divorce for Christmas so I guess this ones not to bad haha. But now my kids will go threw what I did bouncing between houses for the holidays. And it's not just Xmas I hate I hate all holidays with the exception of Halloween......soon to be single again I can really enjoy it haha. Quote
