Loop_Dad Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Is there any braid known to sink faster than the others? Thanks! Quote
Super User LgMouthGambler Posted November 29, 2012 Super User Posted November 29, 2012 Some braids have been made with some kind of sinking aspect, but I dont hear anything good about their performance. If you want braid to sink, use some weight. Quote
Super User webertime Posted November 29, 2012 Super User Posted November 29, 2012 "Fast Sinking Braid" is like saying "Skinny Fat Guy". 832 and Spiderwire Fluorobraid were supposed to be fast sinking, and aren't. Quote
The Next KVD Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 The only one I can think of is Spiderwire Fluorobraid. I have used it and not fond of it. It does sink but nothing like pure fluorocarbon. Also it seems to unravel every now and and than when trying to tie knots. Quote

BobP Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Sinking? Yes. FAST sinking? No. I'm using some 832 right now and like it. It has one Gore thread among its 7-8? threads, which makes it sink slowly. Quote
