Tyler j Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 does anyone have a waterquest 11.3 how much is it its it good for tourney is the livewell big enough for 5 fish how big of a motor can be on the back troller motor? room for rods looking at this or the sportsman 8 for a starter boat what about a trailer Quote
Sun Fish Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I just typed waterquest 11.3 in google and found the answer to most of your questions in the first 3 links. Not sure on the livewell but it looks like it's rated for 15hp. Weither or not it would be good for tourneys would totally depend on the size of lake your tourneys are on. If your fishing a 1,000 acre lake+ I would say no. If your fishing a 100 acre lake I'd say sure, why not. If tournaments are your main concern, I'd look into a aluminum boat in the same price range. Tyler j Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 it is about 2000 acres but i only fish a 200 acre area so Quote
zachb34 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 I had one but recently sold it the livewell can not hold 5 fish maybe two if its an electric only lake this would be great for a tournament it comes with rod holders and has a large deck for this kind of boat it has two storage compartments as for price and trailers there's one in my area for 1200 with trailer on Craigslist Quote

zachb34 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 I would look at the basstender 10.2 instead they can be found in good condition for 500-700 with a trailer check your local Craigslist. For what it's worth I have a Coleman perch which is almost the same as the sportsman and it can only fit about 4 rods and two tackle boxes with two people. Quote
