Super User roadwarrior Posted November 28, 2012 Super User Posted November 28, 2012 'Tis the season to be jolly...and have your reels serviced for the coming year! Delaware Valley Tackle joined our family of sponsors this year and I am quite proud. I have had some work done and have had the opportunity to speak with Mike directly. In addition to the annual service, I asked Mike to supertune a Curado 50E and a 200E. Man, was I impressed. Prices are fair, turnaround is fast and I have a great deal of convidence in knowing the job was done right. As added benefits for BassResource members, Mike offers a 10% disccount on his work and free consultation. If you are trying to do maintainence yourself, Mike will share his expertise with you if you run into a bind. For me, that would be what to do with all the "extra parts"! I hope you will think of Delaware Valley Tackle when it's YOUR GEAR that needs cleaning, repair or an upgrade. Mike is a friend of mine and a friend of yours. http://www.delawarevalleytackle.com/ :santa-107: Quote

Super User Jigfishn10 Posted December 23, 2012 Super User Posted December 23, 2012 I had a very tough 2010 and 2011 from an economy stand point and had an older reel that needed some work. I couldn't find the parts I needed so I asked Mike to help me find what I needed. He was skeptcal about the prospects of finding the parts, but he did take the time to do the research for me, more than I expected BTW, and was very happy to know that if I need help or if Im in a jam, I can rely on Miketo help me out. Merry Christmas Mike! Quote
lkn4bss Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 I have a Chronarch and Curado that needs some help. They are older reels. Guessing DVT is the place to send them? Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted December 24, 2012 Super User Posted December 24, 2012 I have a Chronarch and Curado that needs some help. They are older reels. Guessing DVT is the place to send them? I have used several other "pro" level places to send my reels. One place does good work but I waited 6 weeks to get my reels back. The other place has outstanding turnaround times and does amazing work but only services shimano reels. This year I am going to send all my reels to DVT. He doesn't know it but from all the good things said about Mike plus the discount to members I am going that route this year. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted December 30, 2012 Global Moderator Posted December 30, 2012 He's about to get busy... While I'm down for the count because of back surgery I had on the 19th I'm gonna take advantage of the down time and get the whole arsenal done right. Mike Quote

shootermcbob Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 How often do they email. I sent them an email yesterday and still don't have a response? Not sure about email, I sent Mike at DVT a private message here on BassResource, and he got back to me the same day. Quote
