I am a very avid fisherman, I am 20 years old I've been fishing since I was a kid. I do a lot of fishing for Steelhead, panfish, carp, and catfish. I try for bass and do okay. But bass fishing is by far my favorite next to Steelhead, but the problem is I don't know much about it. I am hoping to get a bunch of info and becoming a great bass fisherman.

Thanks,

Jeremy

What part of Ohio? Since you mention steelheads I am assuming northern Ohio in the Lake Erie region.

The fishers here catch huge bass, so you're in the right place.

Yup, Mentor right by the Lake and Grand River. I don't really fish Lake Erie, just Rivers, Streams, Creeks, and Inland Lakes.

My soon to be ex is from mentor

do yourself a favor and drive out to conneaut creek off of 90 going to Pennsylvania

throw some inline spinners and jerbaits in the spring and you will slay the small mouth

i caught 3 over 20 inches last year in only about 4 hours fishing

if you can get out on a boat on a good out of fairport harbor head west toward the bubble

once there fish jerkbaits spoons grubs tubes and jigs

have had over 100 fish days on the lake many times

good luck and tight lines

Thanks for the info, I do not fish Erie much. My boat is not big enough to be out there. I will fish the harbors though and inside the wall.
